yEnc TZ is a plain freeware program that decodes yEnc encoded files. I wrote it because I couldn't reveal an existing standalone yEnc decoder seeking Macintosh, and I wasn't around to remunerate $15 seeking a chunk of shareware just so I could look at yEnc encoded binary files. MT-Newswatcher 3.2 seeking Mac OS X advertises that it can handle yEnc encoded binary files, but it wants to relief them afar to another program to do the decoding. You can tell Newswatcher to exercise "yEnc TZ" to decode yEnc files. Older newsreaders don't identify around the yEnc aspect. With older newsreaders you requisite save the articles and then, in the Finder, relief the saved articles to yEnc TZ. What's New: Version 1.11 adds the following: Improved decoding of UUEncoded files: ignores embedded header lines.
