ADmitMac v2.0 allows Macintosh users running Mac OS X 10.2.x, Jaguar, or Mac OS X 10.3, Panther, to participate in Microsoft networks captivating advantage of the directory services provided by Active Directory, NT and Apple's Workgroup Manager Directory Services. Administrators can administer their property users in a consistent way without regard to what kind of computer they exercise. ADmitMac lets users log into a Macintosh with their property credentials and then have access to files in their home directory. ADmitMac is tailored representing multi-user, multi-computer scenarios with administrator defined arrangement shelter. It supports the highest level of shelter and does not want the downgrading of shelter when using Windows Server 2003. Kerberos is employed to outfit secure directory access, ergo reducing the risk of unwanted disclosure, spoofing, and man-in-the halfway attacks. ADmitMac automatically configures the Macintosh to exercise Kerberos and obtains the necessary shelter keys from the property and performs mutual authentication requiring the server to prove its categorize.
