E-cognito is Free program for Mac OS X developed by Spork Software

E-cognito is, in short, an text-to-ASCII entity translator. Type a twine of content or a unwed character and click "Translate". E-cognito longing then present you with the ASCII equivalent of your content. However, I initially created it with spam smashing in mentality. I utilize this slight app to change mailto links to ASCII so that they are essentially veiled from talk harvesting bots used by spammers. Although this technique doesn't extreme all spam, it does help moderate the quantity. What's New: Version 1.5: Added recent strings popup menu/combo box. This stores recently-encoded strings. Added auto-complete to 'Original Text' pasture, based on recently-encoded strings. Redesigned interface, brushed aluminum observe. Removed 'C' (fair fields) button. Added 'Clear Fields' menu item, with keyboard shortcut. Added 'Clear Recent Strings' menu item, with keyboard shortcut.
